About the Author: Erin Weidemann is an enthusiastic and goofy mom to two children, one of them with paws. She is a wife, author, teacher, former college athlete and a five time cancer survivor. Her heart is in Seville, Spain, though she calls Encinitas, CA home. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach with her husband and daughter, coaching softball, and pretending she can bake. She loves eating, laughing, and volunteering at church teaching Sunday school. In addition to being the CEO and founder of Bible Belles, Erin hosts the Heroes For Her podcast.
Before you watch the video below, let me just share how much I enjoyed this book! The illustrations are great to look at and the storyline is simple enough for the younger readers but still profound enough for those who are reading to younger children. My favorite line in the book is "The more you use your superpowers, the stronger they get!" It is possible to see our children get excited about the superpowers of the Bible, also known as the Fruit of the Spirit!! While I'm not a fan of watered down Bible stories for children, this story was beautifully done and I love how Erin pulls an unexpecting superpower from her telling of the story of Esther. Well done!!! I would love to collect this series!
